Business Analysis
Business analysis is a core skill of all Square Mile consultants. It is from having an inquisitive mind coupled with good content knowledge and an understanding of the big picture that we are able to deliver value to our clients.

Additionally we demand that are consultants have other skills which sets them apart. These include:

Our consultants are experienced in gathering requirements in a number of ways including:

• Conducting interviews
• Running workshops
• Creating a model set of requirements which can then be challenged

Although we have our own style for documenting the requirements we are also able to work to methodologies and standards adopted by our clients including the use of the case tools within the Rational Unified Process.

While we recognise that business analysis is often one of the initial activities undertaken on an assignment we also recognise that the business analyst also has a key role to play in ensuring the final delivery of a project in terms of:

• Procedures development
• User test planning
• User acceptance
